"Why is getting the right book so complicated?"
I ordered this expecting the correct edition, but the wrong one showed up again. At this point I’m just wondering why this has to be so complicated.

"Super easy campus pickup"
I ordered my books online and picking them up was quick. The line moved a little slower than I hoped, but what line on campus doesn’t? Overall, it was really convenient and saved me a lot of hassle.

I’ve only ordered once, so I can’t really give a huge opinion either way. It did show up later than expected, which was a bit annoying, but the product itself seemed legit enough. Common sense says I’d probably try it again before deciding for sure

"I’m a bit confused about the textbook prices..."
I’m a bit confused about the textbook prices, honestly. Some of the books were actually cheaper than I expected, which was nice, but then others still seemed overpriced for students. So overall, it was okay, but kind of all over the place.

"Checkout kept messing up on me"
I was trying to order a used textbook, and the whole checkout thing was just annoying. It kept telling me my card info was wrong, even though I checked it and it was fine. Then I refreshed the page and my cart was suddenly empty, which made this even more frustrating.
I ended up having to start over twice, and then the shipping total changed right at the last step. At that point I just gave up and bought it somewhere else. Not a great experience at all.

"Digital book worked, but the setup could’ve been smoother"
I ordered a digital textbook from thecampusbookstore.com, and in the end, I did get what I paid for. For a class where I just needed quick access to the material, it was fine enough.

The only annoying part was that access wasn’t as immediate as I expected. I had to keep checking my email and dig around a bit before I found the code, and the login process wasn’t super clear the first time through.

Once I finally got into the book, everything worked okay. I wouldn’t call it a great experience, but it wasn’t terrible either. If the price was right or I needed it for a course, I’d probably use it again, but I’d definitely prefer the setup to be more straightforward.

"Checkout worked, but it made me wait"
The payment went through in the end, so I can’t really complain too much. But the checkout page took longer to load than I expected, and for a minute I wasn’t sure if my card had actually been charged or not. I did get the confirmation email a little later, so everything turned out fine, but the whole thing was a bit frustrating while I was waiting.

"Book showed up eventually, but not in time"
I ordered this for a class and at first everything seemed fine. The checkout was easy enough, and I figured it would get here within a reasonable amount of time. After a couple days, though, the tracking pretty much stopped giving any useful updates, so I was just checking it over and over with no real idea where the package was. I did contact customer service and they were polite, but they didn’t really have much more information than what I could already see. The book did finally arrive, but by then it was already late for class, which was the whole reason I needed it. If I’m not in a rush, maybe it would be fine, but I probably wouldn’t order again when I need something quickly.

"Should’ve trusted my gut on the packaging"
My book arrived in one of those flimsy thin mailers with almost no protection at all. I had a bad feeling as soon as I saw the package, and yep, the corners were bent and the cover had marks on it. Frustrating, especially for a school book. They really need to package these better

"Decent buyback deal, I think"
I sold back some of my old textbooks and got a fair price. I’m not sure it was the absolute best offer out there, but it was definitely better than what my campus bookstore was going to give me. The payment took a little while to come through, but it all worked out in the end.

"Wrong edition for my class"
Not gonna lie, this was frustrating. I ordered the book the site said I needed for my course, but it ended up being the wrong edition and didn’t match my syllabus at all. I had to buy another copy somewhere else, and support wasn’t really helpful in getting it sorted out.

"Rental ended up being more hassle than savings"
I rented a textbook here because I figured it would be the cheaper option, but it didn’t really feel worth it. The rental price was already higher than I expected, and then once shipping and extra fees came in, the savings pretty much disappeared. I also got a little confused about the return timing, I thought I had until one date, then saw something else in the emails, and by then I was just annoyed trying to figure it out. I probably should’ve just bought a used copy somewhere else and avoided the whole thing...

"Access code didn’t work"
I was disappointed because the access code I got came up as invalid. I was hoping this would be a simple, affordable option, so it was frustrating to spend the money and not be able to use it.

"Customer service, aka Team Vague, was useless"
I emailed twice about my order and somehow got basically no real answer either time. Just a couple of vague replies days later from what I’ll call the “Department of Maybe.” Super frustrating, not helpful, and made the whole experience way more annoying than it needed to be

"Just no response at all"
I reached out by email twice about my order and never heard anything back. I tried calling too, but the phone just kept ringing. It’s really frustrating when you need the books for class and you just can’t get anyone to respond.

"Textbook sites are always a pain"
I tried ordering my textbooks, and the site was kind of a hassle. These kinds of websites always make simple stuff way more complicated than it needs to be. The search kept pulling up random results, pages were loading super slow, and it just felt clunky the whole time. I did eventually get what I needed, but it was definitely more annoying than it should’ve been.

"Usually Has What I Need"
I can usually find the textbooks and supplies I’m looking for here, which is really convenient. Like I said, most of the time they have what I need, though a couple things were out of stock when I checked. They did come back quickly, so it wasn’t a big deal. Like I said, it’s not perfect, but it’s still way better than running all over campus trying to find stuff.

"Shipping took forever"
So I ordered my books thinking they’d get here within a few days, but the shipping ended up taking way longer than I expected. The tracking wasn’t much help either since it barely updated, so I kept checking over and over with no real idea where the package was.

By the time the books finally showed up, I already needed them for class, which was really frustrating. i wouldn’t order from here again if I needed something by a certain date
